Yup.. I'm back again.. After the long and tiring week.. And i got to eat Yue Bing.. Yeah!! But was abit too sweet for the non-yolk ones.. But all is good... Got to Shang Yue , eat cakey, drink tea, took a picture with Full Moon, enjoy the coolness of the night, got deng long BUT also got to rush to finish the slides for monday.. Haa..And that's done already.. A little break now before the work pile high as the mountain again.

Yes.. i've finally post something.. Hee.. Have been so busy this week and right now i'm in the library using the internet.. So.. yup.. just do all i need to with the internet and reply emails and stuff.. Yup.. i really haaven't been sleeping well.. I can't remeber how it feels to sleep well.. at least 8 hours or 10 for me.. haa.. Anyway.. got to continue with work soon.. Presentation on monday but haven't even started looking for references and stuff to add in the talk.

My pumpkin soup with 'Chao Ta' cinnamon and sugar toast. First time making this pumpkin soup. A total failure. Really don't know what it should taste like? Sweet? salty? The pumpkin had this sweet taste to it but isn't soup salty? But i added a little salt to it. Taste alright but really bad when it's cold. Dodn't let Eiko they all try cos Hee.. Later they laugh at me... Anyway will try this again when i go back S'pore where i'll have easy access to certain ingredients that was required.

the Pavlova which i've been wanting to make it. Finaaly i've used up the 2 weeks old egg white.. It was fun though not know what's the right texture the stiff 'beaten egg white' peaks were. Just do it anyhow.. Haa.. Anyway, it taste similar to the one I had the previous semester when Tong Yin bought one those fron The Cheesecake Shop. It was really sweet but a bit light or 'fluffy' within. This was not too bad..

mooncake with the filling and yolk.. Hmmm... Well i will only get to have it
next Mid-autumn festival!! But i had this cadbury choco.. Raspberry cream..
which is as good.. and it can just take the place of 'yue bing' for now.

Lazy Hazy Wednesday Afternoon

I'm not sure what i consider it to be.. Good or Bad weather?
Good weather to sleep in, laze around, drink hot tea and just bum around..
Bad as in dark clouds, extremely strong wind, report due tmr and i haven't touched it yet.

Took a break before i even started anything to change my blogskin. Haa.. It has this summer feeling that i wish for now.. Alright.. I shall continue later.. when i finish the report.

Word History: Why should the word for something as functional and mundane as haywire have come to be applied to something that is not functioning properly or to a person who is crazy? It would seem a story of semantics gone haywire. Haywire is a compound of the words hay and wire, originally simply denoting wire used to bale hay or straw. The term is first recorded as a noun in a debate in the Canadian House of Commons (1917), so it is a Canadianism or, since it appeared soon thereafter in a U.S. publication, a North Americanism. We find an earlier (1905) attributive use in the phrase hay wire outfit, a term used contemptuously for poorly equipped loggers. What lies behind this term is the practice of making repairs with haywire. Haywire is found in other contexts with the general sense "makeshift, inefficient," from which come the extended senses "not functioning properly" and "crazy."


Due to some other physical discomfort, I rested.. means i slept for quite sometime.. Not doing anything. This is terrible. I think my body's going bonkers.. The biological system is screwed.. Haa..


Oh and i heard from Moon today tat Eiko's flat was almost burnt! Smokey flat set the alarm off. But how come i didn't hear any of those siren went on? Thank God she wasn't around in the flat that time.. but poor drunkard guys.. Hope they didn't inhale too much of that smoke.


Oh so i was napping when i dreamt about my daddy.. He was in Perth too.. It seems like he has stayed here for quite awhile.. Haa..He knew all the places well and he even told me what cooffee is nice here.. Haa.. Think he said Gloria Jeans coffee or was it something else. Can't really remember.


Alright shall get back to work. Study for test on tuesday. Wish me all the best..

They sky's turning dark now.. Where has Mr Sunshine gone to? Was bright, warm and sunny about an hour and a half ago and now.. the gloomy lonely sleepy kind. How to do my assignment when the weather is perfect to sleep in.. Haa...
