Wierdest Dream
Dreams don't make sense!
It just makes you feel more tired, adrenaline pumping and disrupt your beauty rest.
However, they are often imaginative.. And the climax of the story usually begins just before you wakes up.
Incredible tale:
Dreamt that I was riding a bicycle along Keppel Road towards the CBD area.. It was not the simple bicycle. In the dream it was more like a uni-cycle, that was as tall as those container truck.. And so i was riding.. so fast that if i try to brake, I'll definitely fall off. and i almost hit into a lorry that cut into my lane . It was carrying long stainless steel spokes that could pierce through me if i don't take alternative solution. SO i swerve to avoid it.. which took me onto the expressway.. I think it was ECP. then i woke up when my mum came in to wake me.
Where's the incredible tale??
It's the part where my cousin was with me all through this entire journey, he was running/walking while directing me the way to get home, i can't see what his legs were doing, but he was beside me all the time! Haha.. Isn't he incredible.. To be able to get onto expressway means he walk/run as fast as any vehicles..
I really can't piece together any theory that led to this dream..
Well.. so i think I'd better get on with studying for the accounting paper on Sat..

Bungy-jump
The uneasiness in my heart was indescribable. The entire morning at work was terrible because i realized my mistake! I've not felt this helpless. It could have been a very serious problem as it concerns money.
I am just really glad now that I was not sentenced to death.
Thank God the report has yet to be submitted for approval and there's still chance for salvation. You could never imagine the relief I felt afterwards.. after the phone call that set me free..
Really dislike this feeling but no one to blame except myself. I'm too careless! Wonder if it's a right choice to take accounting after this incident. The roller-coaster feeling is too much for my fragile heart.. I could feel my heart plunging down like in a bungy-jump when I realized what i did and later followed by the relief of it and the normal contractions.
I Have to be more disciplined to check my work thoroughly now on.. before giving my word to anyone..
Anyway.. there'll be more posts coming soon.. just a matter of time..

Dead Sea Scoll Exhibition

Went for this exhibition recently.. It was about the forming of bibles and the little fragments of bible evidence that got preserved since then, about 5000 yrs ago..

Cuneiform writing.. Earliest form of writing by people Mesopotamia (Iraq). They were mainly pictographs.. The picture b4 this states it all.. Am writing in case the wordings are too small..

The discovery of the dead sea scrolls.. They were found written on animal skin, stored in Jars of Clay in caves and got degraded over time and now left with fragments.. Pardon the photos.. Was very stressed there.. Too crowded, so just snap and move on..

Hebrew Torah Scrolls, preserved for about 250yrs. It consist of first 5 books (The Law) of the bible.. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers & Deutoronomy.

Scroll fragments on darkened animal skin, which can only be viewd with infra-red lightings. The bible verse in from Psalms

Gutengurg Bible (42-line bible)- First printed bible in Europe by Johannes Gutenberg

Losing bible popularity contest - In England under Mary's reign, they persecuted protestants. Until Queen Elizabeth's reign, she reluctantly allowed printing and distribution of Geneva Bible. Geneva bible is like a study bible, with side notes & commentaries of strong calvinist tones, and also with bible verses for reference. So a decree came and a new version was required. The current versions we have now.

First completed Bible and bestseller..

Dr Casiodoro de Reina - A catholic monk who became a reformer and translated the bible to Spanish with a few others.

A '50kg' bible that was chained to Pulpit in England.. Last but not least.. something of relevance to the dead sea..

Dead Sea Mineral Body Scrub.. :)
Also.. also.. met up with this girl la.. So busy.. only have 2-3weeks free time now.. anyway.. we had fun.. Shopping for Jap products at supermarket and having milk tea & Strawberry yoghurt ice cream.. And it's amazing these 2 flavours did not clash at all.. Yummy..

And I finally tasted the cream puff from Tampopo Deli.. Delicious.. The cream and puff is just nice together. Not 'gelat?' and I did not have to queue at all.. Yeah!

Just some things that happened in SG recently..
There's Sakae Sushi near my house. Though it is not very good food but we've got Jap food nearby. Hope there will be a restaurant, not just their main office.

See it how it glows at night..
Another event: Lunch @ Shang Palace
The dim sum is not as fantastic as other places but overall ambiance very nice.
See their selection of tea. Very expensive.

Look.. our new colleague.

And Edward..

And Mavis!

The Sabah Trip..
Glad my legs are still intact. Can't believe we did it up to the rest house. I thought I would hae died of exhaustion just 1km from Laban Rata. It was such a mental and physical turmoil up that mountain. Heck.. i should have gone to Bukit Timah HILL and do some trial out maybe that would have prepared me, mentally, for this torturous climb. But the view was breathtaking so is the coldness and icy cold water. The heated water and the room's heater has some timings for it. So you just have to do your stuff within that time and otherwise, wash your hands etc in icy cold 'ice mountain'. Wish we went to the summit. We were so close to it. But Jude figured that it would be very tiring for me to climb the last 2.5km upwards so we left for downhill after breakfast.
Back to the city was just aches everywhere. Did the most painful foot massage ever. My calves and thighs were so sore that she could not put too much strength with the massaging of my calves. She even applied some muscle pain cream to soothe the soreness.
This is the first day resort.. The place was nice to chill out at. The weather is cool and very cold when it rains. Feels like back in Aus. Haha..Picture of some mountain at the background. Could be part of Mount Kinabalu.

Me.. i made it to the Laban Rata Resthouse.
And Yes.. That's the mountain at the back..

Embarking on the trecherous route back down..

My favaourite bonsai tree!
It looks so pretty..

Realized I didn't take much pictures. I think the climb up has worn me out and causing the lack of energy to hold the camera..
Feels good to be home.

Random Adventure..

Look!! what's steaming...

Handmade Red Bean paste Pao..
This is really not good at all.. The pao skin was too thick and not smooth enough.. I am just too lazy to knead it well. It's tiring though and can tone up my arms..
Before steaming:

After..

Ready to consume!
Happy Belated Mother's Day!
In celebration of Mother's day..
Dim sum @ Dim Joy, Neil Road. Food was not bad, up-market Red Star, but place was a little too cramped. The waiters/waitresses were kind of not prepared for such occasion & Dad was cursing most of the time before food was being served.
Overall the place was good for a company of 2-3 people to enjoy their meal. (Too little pictures coz we waited too long and was so hungry).

Another soon to be Mother's Day celebration @ Vivo City, Asian Kitchen (no pictures taken as everyone were too hungry..Haa) then desserts at Marche..

Lastly, as Father's Day is here soon, Happy father's Day in advance!
